Preventive Health Care Checkup Procedure
Greetings! From Asarfi Hospital
This is just to brief you about the procedure you need to follow to complete the ASARFI PREVENTIVE HEALTH CHECKUP. Please make sure that you are on EMPTY STOMACH (No food, Coffee, Tea, etc.)

Time Taken: For all PHC Packages the time taken will be 5 – 6 Hrs. Except for Cardiac and Executive Package for which 7 – 8 Hrs. will be taken.

Details of the Procedure
Payment: Should be done at the beginning of the checkup, Cash/Credit Cards/Company Letters to be produced at the Counter.
Blood & Urine Test: Checkup is usually started by giving fasting Blood and Urine samples. Breakfast to be completed only if you have completed the Ultrasound scan of Upper Abdomen. ALL MEDICATIONS TO BE TAKEN AS USUAL.
Stool Sample: If not given at the time of checkup, it should be given by 1 pm on the same day.
ECG: Will be done between other tests. Female patients should not undergo Chest X-Ray or any other X-Ray/CT Scan, in case of PREGNANCY or any doubt of PREGNANCY

Medical History: Will be taken by the examining physician.
Physical Exam: Will be done by the Consultant Physician, who will be giving you the review appointment time usually for the following day at which time the reports will be handed over to you with the opinion and advice regarding your health status.
Ultrasound Abdomen Scan: Upper abdomen must be carried out on empty stomach. For lower abdomen, your urinary bladder should be full for better result. Please make sure that you drink plenty of water for a full bladder. Ultrasound of lower abdomen may be done after completing all other tests such as TMT & after having food. Ultrasound report will be given in a typed form except in significantly positive cases when a film will be given.
Dietitian Consultation: Your package includes a Dietitian consultation which will be done after all your package included tests and physician consultations are done.
Additional Tests/Consultations: Not included in the package may be suggested by the doctor. The Cost and the time taken for these will be additional. Any reports or specialist opinion following additional tests/consultations to be immediately handed over to PHC In-charge.

Please seek the guidance of the PHC In-charge for whatever assistance you may need regarding PHC Program.
Review appointment given by the PHC Physician should be confirmed with the PHC In-charge at PHC Counter. Please keep up the review appointment even if you have any additional tests/consultations yet to be completed.
Please GET THE SIGNATURE OF THE PHC IN-CHARGE ON THE CHECKLIST AS SOON AS YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL THE PRIMARY TESTS: only then your reports will be processed and kept ready for collection on the following day.
Please note that on Sundays PHC-Counter will be open but only for ECG, X-Ray and Blood Tests. For all other tests and consultations you are requested to book a weekday appointment.
Please bring your Govt. Issued ID (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, etc) for your appointment. THIS IS MANDATORY for tests like Echo and Ultrasound.
